I can't beleive nobody has gone after the White Mantle names yet, they have by far the worst names for their heroes.
Holt The Iron Boot Heel... I mean come on, hes named after a boot heel, and they even use the extra word to make sure you know its made of iron?
Cyrus The Unflattering, because what kind of hero is that uncharismatic: "When the White Mantle Justiciars just aren't enough to stop the chosen, they send in... CYRUS THE UNFLATTERING!"

I remember coming across 2 pinesoul, i think their names were, " deep root" and "quick root".
in new zealand "root" is slang for having sex with someone,
eg. I rooted the (fill in blank)

The correct spelling is Aatxe and this has nothing to do with axes. It's a mythological beast. See here : http://www.answers.com/aatxe

Wurm is not actually a misspelling for worm but a word that has been evolved from wyrm (old english). But you're correct in that GW wurms are actually worms The name has been in use in other FRP universes. In AD&D, for instance, wurms are dragon-like things, IIRC.

Heh. In fact, it is not outright obscene, more like a cutesy insult with a harsh undertone. The word "Mokmok" does not even mean anything but it comes out like "wham-bam" as in "thank you, m'am". The root of the other word, "Ana" means mother.
The closest translation would be : "Bambam your mother"

Actually I think Wurms are supposed to be very very large Worms, at least that's what I've gathered from playing MT:G, which the devs have mentioned on occassion, as Wurm creatures generally are drawn to look like... very large worms (and sometimes with draconic heads). Then again, I really probably don't know what I'm talking about and just trying to take an aimed shot into the dark. Just stuff I've noticed about the name :P .

Yeah, I did a bit of research and wurms (wyrms, to be exact) are european dragons with serpent-like bodies. Of course, when the mythology in itself cannot agree on their appearance it's only natural that different fantasy universes will depict them in different shapes. A dragon, a large worm, or a combination of them in any ratio would count as wurms, apparently.

One I laughed at was "Garr the Merciful" White mantle. If he is merciful why doen't he just let us pass?
Also in same mission: "Cuthbert the Chaste" They shoulda used clean....in America Chaste suggests sexual abstitence, not cleanness. Thoguh I get what they meant.
my FAVORITE boss name: Ipillo WupWup (was mentioned earlier with misspelled name)
WupWup is just fun to say.
Some honarable mentions:
Claw Fleshfixer
Torch Spitfur
Jolo Lighthaunch
etcetc
i dont even have to comment..
